WEDNESDAY CLUB NIGHTS - RUNNING &
REFRESHMENTS - starting from 8 July
The House & Social Committee are pleased to
announce a restricted resumption in
refreshment availability on a Wednesday
A limited outdoor bar
will be available from next Wednesday 8th
July from 7 to 9 pm and the tents have been
erected to provide some shelter in the event
of inclement weather, together with tables
However we would ask
all club members to observe social
distancing and note that the bar will be
card payment only to avoid handling of cash.
To meet government requirements a register
of attendees will be kept for three weeks.
Unfortunately it is
not possible for us to provide food or to
open the changing rooms or showers at this
time, but toilets will be available.
So come along for a
socially distanced run, in group of no more
than 6, and then enjoy a beer, wine or non
alcoholic refreshment afterwards and
re-acquaint yourself with other Wednesday
David Appleton, on
behalf of the House & Social Committee.
P.S. Due to a
large number of the club bar volunteers
being vulnerable and/or shielded persons we
are seeking volunteers for subsequent
Wednesdays to help set up the bar, manage
the contactless card machine and clear away
afterwards. Please contact David Appleton
(firstname.lastname@example.org ) if you can
help. Many thanks.
