More sad news in that Ed Malone MBE has just passed away. Ed joined way back in 1946 and was 89 years old and great company. 31-03-20

Sad to report that Derek Hogg VP, a past Club Secretary (1961-64), passed away on 19 March. He joined Blackheath in February 1946 and was aged 91.

Have also heard that Peter Mulholland, Hercules Wimbledon. whom many of you knew, also died a couple of days ago. Tribute  28-03-20

Athletics in England suspension extended until 31 May 2020 - see latest from England Athletics 24-03-20

The last Leaderboard Mile session, scheduled for 23 March, was cancelled. However, this event will be extended to allow at least one more session as and when the authorities allow and the club considers it is safe to do so. 20-03-20

The Directors/Trustees have now decided to postpone the AGM and will announce a new date as soon as they are able to do so.

Our President, Julian Golding, hopes to announce the new President on 28 March: the original date of the postponed AGM. 18-03-20

The Home Country Athletics Federations (HCAFs) in cooperation with UK Athletics have decided to suspend all planned in person and face to face organised athletics activity until the end of April where the situation will be reviewed once more. Read more 17-03-20

The Clubhouse is completely closed until the end of April at least. Information on future Wednesday Club Nights will be published as the situation develops. 17-03-20

In light of EA advice relating to the coronavirus, and with approval of London Borough of Bromley, Norman Park Track is now closed until at least end April. 17-03-20

Shircol Consultancy Practice - Building Consultants and Advisors

Is a weekly 5k that takes place in Norman Park on Saturday mornings at 09:00. You need to register via their website (free) then just turn up and run/jog the same course, for free, every Saturday! Any age group from 4 years and up. Furthermore, on Sunday mornings also in Norman Park, at 9am, there’s Bromley junior parkrun for 4-14 year olds.

Our Junior Girls were 3rd & Junior Boys 2nd at the European Junior Clubs Cups Final, 21 September 2019 23-09-19

At the end of the 2019 T&F Leagues:
The Female Masters team finished 4th in the Kent Division 1 and stay there for 2020
The Male Masters team win the Kent Division 2 and are promoted back to Division 1 for next year
U13 and U15 boys and girls
won the Kent YA League again: 1st in their league in the UKYDL & 2nd in National Final
U17 and U20 boys and girls
are top of their league in the UKYDL & 1st in the National Final
The Senior Men finish 7th in the Premier division
