Club Organisation & Legal Status
The Club trustees are delighted to advise that the Charity Commission has approved our application to become a full charity.
This will provide the club with additional tax benefits and possibly help us to obtain funding from grant making trusts and other funding bodies.
We are also pleased to announce that Julie Asher/Smith has been co-opted onto the board of trustees.
The board of trustees now consists of Alan Pickering (Chair), Ian Young (Secretary), David Appleton, Julie Asher-Smith, John Baldwin, Chris Hilditch, Paul Patten and Tim Soutar. 27-06-17

Deniz Mehmed has set up a Facebook page to keep people informed about the different groups that meet and run at Blackheath & Bromley Harriers HQ on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.


England Athletics, UKA and the other home country governing bodies are alert to our responsibilities to all participants in athletics in respect of all aspects of health and safety. One particular area that young athletes and their parents must be aware of is the risk of cardiac problems. Full information about CRY and their services can be found on their website at www.c-r-y.org.uk . Young people between the age of 14 and 35 who would like to have cardiac testing can go to www.testmyheart.org  You can also see www.uka.org.uk/governance/health-safety/cardiac-screening-for-athletes/  for information on work being done by UKA in this area. 3-05-12

300 Club presents £2000 to help send our Junior Girls to the European Junior Clubs Cup Final in Brno, Czech Rep.

At the Club on Wednesday 4 September 2013, Tony Pontifex, the 300 Club Promoter, presented the President with a cheque for £2000 to help send our junior girls to compete in the European Clubs Cups Final in Brno, Czech Rep. He also gave another £500 towards the cost of the Polo Shirts. Presenting the cheques, Tony thanked the members for their continued support, wished them luck in the future and said that if anyone would like to subscribe to the 3000 Club to please contact him on apontifex@hotmail.com  or on 07963738452. 5-09-13

Organised by Bromley MyTime and is a weekly 5k that takes place in Norman Park on Saturday mornings at 09:00. You need to register via their website (free) then just turn up and run/jog the same course, for free, every Saturday! Any age group. 13-09-09



Our Junior Girls took 3rd place at the European Junior Clubs Cups Final in Brno CZE, 16 September 2017 21-09-17
At the end of the 2017 T&F Leagues:
The Senior Men finish 5th in Division One of the British League and stay in that division for next year
The Senior Women finished 6th in the UK Women's League Premier Division and stay there for next year
The Female Masters team finished 4th in the Kent Division
The Male Masters team were 1st in the Kent Division 2 and are promoted back to Division 1 for next year
U13 and U15 boys and girls
won the Kent YA League again: 2nd in their league in the UKYDL & came 2nd in the National Final
U17 and U20 boys and girls
are top of their league in the UKYDL & also WON the National Final
