Sadly VP Brenda Brent passed away on Sunday 12 February just days before her 96th birthday

Her funeral will be on Friday 3rd March at Beckenham Crematorium at 11.15. Afterwards at Bromley Court Hotel BR1 4JD.

Discussion with Bromley Council on the Club potentially taking over and developing the Norman Park track are progressing well, as indicated by this week’s article in the Bromley Times.

For the month of February Waitrose at Biggin Hill will be sharing a £1000 between us and two other organisations. If you could pop in in February and put your green token in our community box that would be a great help.
Waitrose Community Matters

At the end of your shop you will receive a token to place in a box of the good cause you’d most like to support. The more tokens a cause gets, the bigger the donation they receive. Each month every Waitrose branch donates £1,000 between 3 local good causes that you choose.

One particular area that young athletes and their parents must be aware of is the risk of cardiac problems. Full information about CRY and their services can be found on their website at www.c-r-y.org.uk . Young people between the age of 14 and 35 who would like to have cardiac testing can go to www.testmyheart.org  You can also see www.uka.org.uk/governance/health-safety/cardiac-screening-for-athletes/  for information on work being done by UKA in this area. 3-05-12

250 Club presents £2000 to help send our Junior Girls to the European Junior Clubs Cup Final in Brno, Czech Rep.

At the Club on Wednesday 4 September 2013, Tony Pontifex, the 250 Club Promoter, presented the President with a cheque for £2000 to help send our junior girls to compete in the European Clubs Cups Final in Brno, Czech Rep. He also gave another £500 towards the cost of the Polo Shirts. Presenting the cheques, Tony thanked the members for their continued support, wished them luck in the future and said that if anyone would like to subscribe to the 250 Club to please contact him on apontifex@hotmail.com  or on 07963738452. 5-09-13

Organised by Bromley MyTime and is a weekly 5k that takes place in Norman Park on Saturday mornings at 09:00. You need to register via their website (free) then just turn up and run/jog the same course, for free, every Saturday! Any age group. 13-09-09



Our Junior Girls took 2nd place at the European Junior Clubs Cups Final in Castellon, Spain, 17 September 2016

At the end of the 2016 T&F Leagues:
The Senior Women finished 1st in the UK Women's League Div 1 and are promoted to the Premier Division one next year
The Senior Men finish 3rd in Division One of the British League and stay in that division for next year
The Female Masters team finished 2nd in the Kent Division and are into the Area Final
The Male Masters team were 6th in the Kent Division 1 and are relegated to Division 2
U13 and U15 boys and girls
won the Kent YA League again, and were second in the in the UKYDL and 3rd in the National Final
U17 and U20 boys and girls are top of their league in the UKYDL & WON the National Final
