2020 - Virtual Club 5 Handicap -
Anywhere
We are holding a Virtual Club 5 Mile Cross
Country race for club members and guests due to the restrictions on live
cross country races taking place.
Participants can run any 5 mile course,
provided a significant majority of it is off-road/trail and that it has
a minimum elevation gain of 200ft. You may wish to run the 'old' or
'new' club 5 courses themselves!
Please submit a Strava/Garmin screenshot of
your run, along with your name, gender, age category and whether you are
a club member, to
bandbvirtualevents@gmail.com .
We are also looking to offer a 'spot' prize for
the fastest climb of the infamous Fox Hill (from the junction at the
bottom to the Fox pub at the top), so you may wish to incorporate this
into your route.
Deadline for entries was 5pm on Sunday 13th
December.
