This reads like last year and the year before....
The 17 December 2008 was this years Annual Wednesday Nighters Christmas Supper. Once again we had a full house - the noise was
deafening and everyone enjoyed themselves.
Before we sat down about 40 trained athletes ran to 'Apples' for the
now traditional punch & mince pies along with a few carols - this certainly set
the scene for the night. On the way back we made a quick visit to Brian Smith's
house then onto Salih's Fish & Chip shop - chips and more carols and then back for
some serious drinkies.
The fines, auction and raffle
raised a record breaking £1,775.20 - many thanks, yet again, to
all who participated, contributed and have paid up!
