The Senior Women went to the Kent's to defend their title
on the 6 score event. With a total of 14 runners we certainly made an impact on
the field ,but Medway were miles ahead with 3 runners in the top 4 finishers and
therefore whipped us into second in both events. We had a couple of newcomers in
this years race, most notably Shavaun Henry, who has just come up from the U20s,
finishing in 7th place and qualifying for the inter-counties, - as did Siobhan
who was back form France for the weekend. Fran Green is on a return to form
storming in at 19th. Our other newcomer, Kirsty Philp had a very respectable
opening run finishing in the mid field in 37th.
Well done to everyone who ran, we had a huge team which
makes for a good event. Thanks also to the supporters who cheered us all on.
