The Family B-B-Q took place on 15 July 2001 - over 110
people attended and a great time was had by all.
I would like to thank everyone who attended and made the
event such a success, particularly the following, without whose help it would
not have happened:
- Dave Thomson and the Navy Pipe & Drums Band
- Wilf Orton and his two guitars
- Jonathon Brown for the Bouncy Castle and up-market
seating
- Pete & Jenny Lovell for the loan of Bunting and
Gazebos
- Andrew and Garry who manned the bar
- Pizza Hut, West Wickham for loan of utensils
- Steve Hollingdale for his Scout's B-B-Q and organising
the cooking
- Langley Park Tennis Club, Terry Brightwell, Ann Cilla
and Glen Miller for the loan of their B-B-Q's
- All the 'Volunteers' who acted as our brilliant Chefs
- And, all those that helped with the putting up and the
taking down of chairs tables and all the paraphernalia... and the clearing
up
- Finally a great big thank you to Terri for all of the
support and hard work associated with such a event
